DESCRIPTION:Theme: “Sumlag! Inclusive Sustainability Transitions through
  Co-creating Resilient Communities\, Livelihoods\, and Sustainable Destina
 tions”.\nIFSS 2026 invites critical\, creative\, and practice-based cont
 ributions that explore how sustainability transitions can be made more inc
 lusive\, participatory\, and community-centered. As societies confront cli
 mate change\, inequality\, economic uncertainty\, displacement\, and envir
 onmental degradation\, the forum seeks to foreground research and action t
 hat advance social equity\, sustainable livelihoods\, ecological integrity
 \, and resilient destinations.\nWe welcome papers that engage with the for
 um’s key areas: social inclusion and community resilience\; sustainable 
 livelihoods and inclusive economies\; environmental stewardship and climat
 e resilience\; sustainable tourism and resilient destinations\; and innova
 tion\, partnerships\, and sustainability governance.\nForum Objectives:\n\
 nTo examine pathways for participatory governance\, social equity\, and th
 e integration of indigenous knowledge systems into community resilience fr
 ameworks.\nTo assess economic models that promote social entrepreneurship\
 , circular economies\, and sustainable agricultural and food systems.\nTo 
 evaluate evidence-based strategies for climate change adaptation\, ecosyst
 em restoration\, and low-carbon community transitions.\nTo appraise regene
 rative tourism frameworks that protect cultural heritage and strengthen de
 stination resilience and sustainability.\nTo identify multi-stakeholder pa
 rtnerships and policy innovations that drive transformative learning and i
