Theme: “Reimagining Education for a Sustainable Future”.
The 31st ICDE World Conference 2027 provides an opportunity for the global education community to come together in the Philippines to exchange knowledge, challenge assumptions, share innovations, and explore new possibilities for education.
Inspired by the balangay, the Conference recognizes that navigating the future requires collective effort, shared knowledge, and a willingness to adapt to changing conditions.
We invite you to contribute your research, experience, practice, innovation, and ideas to the conversation on how we can reimagine education for a sustainable future.
Common Requirements for All Submissions
All submissions should:
• Identify the Conference subtheme to which the contribution is most closely aligned;
• Clearly articulate the contribution to knowledge, policy, practice, innovation, or dialogue;
• Demonstrate originality and relevance to the Conference;
• Identify the context in which the work, practice, initiative, or experience is situated;
• Where applicable, present findings, evidence, outcomes, or lessons learned;
• Consider the implications for inclusive, scalable, resilient, and sustainable education; and
• Where relevant, connect local or contextual experiences with regional and global perspectives.
All submissions should be written in English and should include 3–5 keywords.
Authors are encouraged to move beyond describing an activity, program, or initiative and articulate what has been learned, what has changed, what remains unresolved, and what others can learn from the experience.
